Highlights of the Shows
Simorra redefines fashion by focusing on the architecture of materials and forms, pushing the boundaries of design to create pieces that are both functional and aesthetically compelling. With a commitment to blending inspiration from its origins with constant innovation, Simorra generates a sense of novelty that captivates its audience. The brand’s SS25 collection, “The Space Between”, draws from the Japanese concept of ‘Ma,’ celebrating the beauty of empty space and its emotional depth. Through a play of transparencies and shadows, this collection explores fashion as a dialogue between the visible and the suggested, inviting viewers to discover new perceptions within each design.
CJ Pajares fifth annual collection, “ANNUAL 25”, presents a blend of summer, winter, and timeless designs, combining handmade, innovative, and environmentally conscious garments. This collection continues the new luxury concept through collaboration with artisans from Castilla-La Mancha, reviving endangered centuries-old techniques. It features ceramics, blown glass, crochet, and fabrics made on traditional looms, incorporating deadstock and Spanish wool with leather and wicker accessories. The collection seamlessly merges craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, emphasizing social responsibility, animal welfare, and environmental sustainability. Innovative patterns, sexy and oversized silhouettes, and prints inspired by sunsets highlight the artisans' work, with materials including wool cloths, silk taffetas, bleached denim, tulle, and fabrics adorned with rhinestones and paillettes, all crafted from recycled and biodegradable fibers.
Custo Barcelona, “Come & See” A collection that celebrates the free and spontaneous spirit with a natural demeanor in a colorful and visual environment. Creativity is the spirit of all the pieces where confident women find their ally. The advanced language of visual communication is pursued. The dresses are the center of attention and both the pieces and the materials try to create an unknown code. Colour is always present and in communion with a graphic language. It is a journey into the imagination. A collection of sartorial trousers and experimental materials together with flowing dresses are the protagonists of the new style. Detail elevates each piece. The palette of vibrant colors is the accompaniment. A collection to see and be seen ̈.
Lola Casademont, draws inspiration from traditional Japanese culture for its Spring/Summer 2025 collection. The influence of geishas, with their delicate femininity and attention to detail, is evident in garments adorned with floral elements and vibrant colors reminiscent of kimonos. The collection features a mix of fluid and structured fabrics, blending traditional Japanese styles with modern touches. Wide volumes in skorts, dropped sleeves, and flowing garments contrast with fitted dresses and geometric patterns. Accessories, including okobo sandals and sashes mimicking traditional obis, complement the designs, creating a sophisticated and contemporary interpretation of classic Japanese attire.
Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Spring/Summer 2025 collection is a vibrant explosion of creativity, featuring a surreal mix of characters like gardeners, clowns, and glamorous divas. With artistic direction from Carlos Marán and Javier Carrera Acosta, the show dazzled with sheer organza, colorful ribbons, sequins, and geometric shapes. The collection highlights playful elements such as exaggerated Victorian collars and staggered color blocking, blending modern agathism with whimsical flair. Interactive elements included Agatha’s perfumes, Optim glasses, Picón espadrilles, and Noco accessories, creating a festive and imaginative runway experience.
Roberto Verino, “UNDRESSED” finding what makes us feel good and highlighting it is the true formula for beauty. We shed the labels, the social standards, the conventions, the prejudices. We strip away what masks and get to what makes us shine undressing artifice to dress beauty. Undressed is an ode to simple, silent luxury. A return to essentialism, to beauty free of artifice, to the nakedness of the soul. A collection that frees us from external barriers to reach the strength of the most special essence of each person. Garments designed to dress individualism, to highlight what is unique and special, rejecting ostentation and the ephemeral dictates of trends to embrace style, elegance and personality.
